Chocolate Fondue

This makes a wonderful dessert to serve to your loved one for a romantic Valentine meal.

Serves 2

 1x100g bar good quality plain chocolate
Small carton double cream
Grated zest 1 orange
2tbsp brandy or liquor of your choice
Selection of fruit of your choice for dipping

 

Method:

 Break the chocolate in a bowl and place over a pan of simmering water. Stir until dissolved.

Add the grated orange zest and pour in the cream, mix really well and remove the bowl from over the pan. Stir in the brandy or liquor. 

Meanwhile prepare the fruit and place on a platter with some cocktail sticks.

Pour the chocolate mixture in a small glass bowl and place on the platter with the fruit – serve to your loved one!

Suggested fruit:Strawberries, Kiwi fruit, banana, mango, fresh pineapple. Why not try some marshmallows too?
