Deacon Blue - This Is A Love Song 

Deacon Blue were formed in Glasgow in 1985 releasing their debut album ‘Raintown’ 2 years later featuring the singles ‘Dignity’ and ‘Chocolate Girl’. Their follow-up album ‘When The World Knows Your Name’ reached Number 1 and in 1990 Deacon Blue scored their biggest hit with the ‘Four From Bacharach and David’ with the lead single ‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’ reaching Number 2. Despite their success the band split in 1994. 5 Years later they held a re-union tour and have been together since 1999 despite various member alterations. Deacon Blue’s 8th album ‘Believers’ includes ‘This Is A Love Song’. The band performed at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 while their next UK tour starts in November.
