Jodie Abacus - Keep Your Head Down

Jodie Abacus - Keep Your Head Down

Jodie grew up in Lewisham, South East London. As his dad was a DJ Jodie listened to a range of music listing ‘Zoom’ by Fat Larry’s Band as one of his earliest memories. At college he drew two arrows on his pad, one direction leading to acting the other to music. He chose music and still scribbles his lyrics in a range of notebooks. After a number of songs released on line he issued ‘Hot Kitchen’ and ‘I’m In Love With The Weekend’ before ‘I’ll Be That Friend’ and a video for the song filmed on a street corner in Los Angeles with Jodie playing his colourful piano while behind the scenes, police directed the traffic. ‘Keep Your Head’ down is Jodie’s first single in 2017 and is expected to be another track from his debut album. Before taking up music full time he was a teaching assistant at a South London school.
