Agency workers at Cummins let go as union calls for impact assessment

Fixed term and agency workers at Cummins in Stamford have told their contracts are coming to an end, as the firm looks to shed around 350 jobs.

Meanwhile, Unite say they want an impact assessment of the cutbacks.

The firm say they're willing to open the books, as long as they're looked at by one of the 'Big 4' international auditors.

Union members are currently voting on whether to take industrial action.
