Campaigners lose another court battle

Radioactive waste can be dumped in King\'s Cliffe

Campaigners against the disposal of radioactive waste near the village of Kingscliffe say their fight isn't over.

Residents lost their latest battle at the court of appeal yesterday.

The judge upheld a decision by the secretary of a state to allow Augean to dump low-level radioactive waste at the site.

The company has welcomed the high court ruling...and says there are no safety risks.
