Cummins industrial action ballot comes to an end

A ballot on possible industrial action at Cummins in Stamford closes today - the company are looking to shed around 350 jobs at their Barnack Road site.

That's with the possibility of around 150 jobs being moved to a different site in the town.

Fixed term and agency workers have already been told their contracts are coming to an end.

The Unite unions claims staff at the firm have been 'betrayed'.
