Investigation launched in Rutland after Councillor admission

County Council will look into malicious posts by Councillor on social media

An investigation's being launched by Rutland County Council after the man who represents Oakham South West Ward admitted publishing malicious posts on social media.

Richard Alderman, from Londsdale Way in Oakham, is now being electronically monitored every night for 6 months.

The 72 year old was also ordered to pay 245 pounds in fines and costs at Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday.
