Lincolnshire could be getting more ambulances

But there are concerns rural areas could lose out.

Plans are being put together to increase the number of ambulances stationed across Lincolnshire.

East Midlands Ambulance Service wants to make an extra six vehicles available at night and another one during the day.

But Gainsborough Town Councillor Matt Boles says staff have told him under the proposals, the town would lose one of the vehicles stationed there.

EMAS say they're currently talking to staff about it so won't go into detail at the moment. But they say any changes would make things better for patients.
