Lincolnshire Police pledge to prevent detention of mental health patients

Lincolnshire's Police Chief says he'll do more to make sure no one detained under the mental health act ends up in police custody.

Bill Skelly has released a new strategy this morning with a greater focus on protecting anyone with mental health issues.

Progress has been made but out of a total of nearly 400 people who were held against their will in the last year, 59 had to stay in cells.
