Rutland County Council makes £250k parking profit

Rutland County Council made around a quarter of a million pounds from parking fees, permits and fines over the past year.

Research from the RAC Foundation shows the amount of cash gained by the council for their parking services rose by around £10,000 to £257,000 pounds last financial year.

Across the UK councils made a record £819 million just from car parking.
