Freezing temperatures and exceptionally heavy wintry showers have caused major disruption in Stamford and Rutland
Cars have been stuck there's been major problems on the roads with many local schools closed.
The A1 has seen severe disruption parts of it have been at a standstill, although it's thought to be very slowly moving again now. There are difficult driving conditions on the A47 too.
Police say Stamford has been particularly badly affected with several cars and lorrties getting stuck.
Many of local children have been given a day off with most schools closing - bus and rail services have also been hit by the weather.
Ketton Library has shut - but the libraries in Oakham and Uppingham are both open.
Meanwhile - volunteers from the Evergreen Care Trust in Stamford are helping people with their medications and meals, to keep people safe in the cold and slippery weather.
