Stamford Couple Restore Demolished War Memorial

A Stamford couple are working to restore a war memorial, to the town\'s fallen heroes.

The monument, for the men of the Williamson Cliffe brickworks, was demolished, along with the rest of the building in 2004.

But Barbara and Don Parker spent 2 months sifting through the rubble to rescue pieces of the memorial and now they are hoping it can be rebuilt in Stamford Cemetery.
