Stamford MP speaks in Parliament for the first time since cancer recovery

Nick Boles has been in Westminster since undergoing treatment, but hadn't spoken in Parliament since his recovery.

Stamford's MP says we need reforms to be passed - so more homes can be built across the UK.

It was the first time Nick Boles had contributed to a debate in Parliament since recovering from cancer - he was unable to be in Westminster while he was undergoing treatment.

He didn't hold back - saying politicians have failed on the issue over the past 20 years.

He criticised a lack of action by successive governments to build enough affordable homes for people to buy - and to ensure that everyone had the chance to own their own homes.
