Fresh hope for Rutland transport hub

Rutland is still in the running to get nearly 5 million pounds of funding to improve transport in the county...

Rutland's bid for nearly 5 million pounds worth of funding to improve transport is 'still under consideration.'

The council's applied for cash from the government's Local Sustainable Transport Fund, to pay for a new hub at Oakham train station.

It's missed out on the first round of funding, but there's still hope it'll be approved in June.
