EVENT CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS

CANCELLATION OF LANGHAM STREET MARKET, AUGUST 31ST 2020

Dear All.

It is with great regret that, as Trustees of Langham Village Hall, we must advise you that we have decided that, to conform with on-going Government policy on social distancing and large gatherings, it would not be appropriate to hold our annual Street Market this year. The event scheduled for August 31st 2020 is therefore cancelled.

Penny Viner will be contacting all those who have already booked pitches to offer them a refund, or the option to carry over the booking payment to next year and make an early reservation for a pitch at next year’s market on August 30th 2021. Some of you have already kindly offered this year’s pitch payment as a donation to Village Hall upkeep funds, for which we are very grateful, particularly at this time when the Hall still has running costs (kept as low as possible) but no income at all.

Finally, the Trustees would like to thank everyone who has already given so much of their time and energy towards this year’s cancelled event, and hope that they can continue to count on your support for next year.

Yours sincerely,

The Trustees of Langham Village Hall
