Castle Bytham Midsummer Festival is looking for local band/singers to play at the festival on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June. Free event to raise money for local charities but all acts are offered expenses plus food and refreshments and can sell their merchandise. Let them know if you are interested at bythamsmusic.org.uk with a description of your act. The deadline is February 18th.
Charity Pageant in Ryhall on 3rd March, Callie Whelton and Kayleigh Mansfield (finalists of Miss Great Britain Lincolnshire last year) are organising a pageant for two charities Abbie's Army (for brain tumor research) and The Christie Hospital Hospice. There's 4 different categories:
* Little Miss Lincolnshire - ages 4-9
* Young Miss Lincolnshire - ages 10-12
* Miss Junior Lincolnshire - ages 13 - 17
* Miss Lincolnshire - ages 18-35
£20 to enter the pageant, £3 for spectators and £5 to book a stall. To enter send a headshot picture and a short statement about yourself to firstname.lastname@example.org. The prize is to win a place in the national final of Miss Bispham International beauty pageant.

Neighbourhood Help for the over 65s in South Witham
Local volunteers are doing what they can to help the over 65s who may live alone in the village and those who may need a little help with everyday tasks such as food shopping in the winter. If you or someone you know would appreciate a bit of help.
