This could be described as very naughty – but amazing!
75g/3oz unsalted butter
50g/2oz dark chocolate
2 tsp honey
50g/2oz icing sugar
3 tbps plain flour
40g/1 ½ oz ground almonds
2 egg whites, lightly whisked
1. Heat the oven to Gas 4/180C. Lightly grease and flour four 125ml/4 fl oz moulds.
2. Place the butter, chocolate and honey in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir until melted and well combined. Set aside to cool.
3. Sift the icing sugar and flour into the bowl of chocolate mixture. Add the almonds then the lightly beaten egg white and stir well. Spoon the mixture into the moulds and cook for 15 minutes or until the surface is firm, the inside should still be runny. Leave to rest for a few minutes then serve with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
125ml/4 fl oz cream
100g/4oz dark chocolate
2 tbsp Coffee flavoured Liqueur – optional
Place the ingredients in a saucepan and gently heat through stirring until the chocolate has melted. Allow to cool and the sauce will thicken.
