Creole Seasoning

A recipe by Jane Hollingsworth from Pheasants Roost in Manton

 

Ingredients 

 

  • 2 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp sage
  • 2 tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp dried onion
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp paprika

 

Method

Blend together and dust on chicken or fish and flash fry.

Jane suggests the creole seasoning on chicken with a tbsp of creme fraiche or sour cream onto of pasta with cold seeded slices of tomatoes. Delicious! 

Keep the seasoning in little tubs or share them with your friends!
