Big rise in the number of alcohol admissions to hospital from Rutland

There's been a 35 per cent increase

Alcohol related hospital admissions in Rutland have risen by more than a third in the last six years according to the latest figures

Over seven hundred people were admitted in 2018 to 2019 marking a thirty-five per-cent increase in the numbers since 2012.

The NHS say over a million people in the country were admitted to hospital because of alcohol in 2018, and the figure has been rising each year for the last decade.
