Campaign group opposes St Georges barracks proposals

Rutland County Council says they're still consulting on the plans

Campaigners in Rutland claim plans for over two thousand houses to be built on St Georges Barracks are "nonsensical" and should be scrapped.

'Fight for Rutland' wants the County Council to take into account their views and rethink the local plan.

Susannah Price is their spokesperson, she says this kind of development is too much for the area

The County Council is stressing a full consultation on the local plan will take place next month and they're keen to hear everyone's views.
