Deaf and hearing impaired children in Stamford and Rutland reveal face mask concerns

Many have worries about coping when they go back to school

Face masks may be able to help protect us during the pandemic but for children in Lincolnshire who are deaf, or hard of hearing, it could lead to depression or anxiety.

Some say they're actually worried about going back to school as they'll feel even more isolated.

10 year old Jack Fisher, from Stamford, is profoundly deaf and has to use a cochlear implant, he's told of his worries about holding a conversation with someone wearing a face mask.
