Health bosses in Rutland on high alert after covid 19 outbreak in nearby Leicester

Meanwhile they say there've been 22 coronavirus related deaths in Rutland, ten of them in care homes

There are concerns about how the close county is to Leicester where an outbreak of the virus has led to a local lockdown.

Rutland director of Public Health Mike Sands says the County Council's working to prevent something similar happening in their area.

Meanwhile he's confirmed 22 people, who tested positive for Coronavirus, have died in Rutland, with just under half living in care homes.

However he's stressing the county has coped well compared to many others.
