Home Secretary says she's listening to concerns about funding for the police force that covers Stamford

Priti Patel has been campaigning in Lincolnshire

The Home Secretary says she's listening to concerns about funding for the police force covering the Stamford area.

Priti Patel has been lobbied on the issue whilst campaigning in Lincolnshire, however when questioned by Rutland Radio last night, she said she was unable to commit to make changes, due to election rules.

The Lincolnshire Force is widely claimed to receive the second lowest level of grant funding per head of population.

Meanwhile, the Home Secretary has said she'll increase the number of Seasonal Agricultural Workers from 2-and-a-half-thousand to 10 thousand - within the next year to ease Brexit fears of Stamford and Rutland's farmers.
