Lincolnshire police officers have been assaulted 85 times since lockdown began

The Government's now proposing to increase the maximum sentence for attacks on emergency workers

Lincolnshire Police has recorded 85 assaults on officers during lockdown so far.

The figure's have been revealed as the Government announces plans to double the maximum sentence for those who attack emergency workers to two years.

Sergeant Lee Johnson has been with the Lincolnshire force for 10 years now - and has been assaulted 5 times.
