Pandemic sees more people needing to use Stamford foodbank

Numbers were up 140 per cent

Stamford food bank says at the height of the pandemic they were feeding 140 percent more people than usual.

Since April, the numbers have fallen, they believe it's because those who were struggling because of self employment have received their first payments or those on benefits have been paid. 

Louise Rose, the operations managers says there could be another spike yet.
