Visitors to this year's Rutland Birdfair will be helping to preserve one of the largest lakes in South America.
The cash is going towards a protection zone at Mar Chiquita Lake, a key habitat for flamingoes.
Birdfair founder Tim Appleton has just handed a third of a million pounds - raised by visitors to last year's event - over to Birdlife International.
It'll be used to support conservation projects in French Polynesia.
The event will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary this August - its hoped by then it'll have raised around £5 million to help protect birds across the planet.
