Rutland hotel with 10 million price tag sold

Barnsdale Hall Hotel will have new owners

A well known Rutland hotel has been sold for 10 million pounds.

Barnsdale Hall Hotel was built in 1980 as the family hunting lodge for the 6th Earl Fitzwilliam.

In more recent years it became a lake-side resort with 66 bedrooms, 4 bars and a restaurant.

The new owners hope to develop the property even further.
