Rutland police chief says impact of police cuts is now being felt

There are now 500 fewer officers compared to 2010

Rutland's Police Chief says people are now beginning to notice the reduction there has been in officer numbers across the area.

Since 2010, 500 fewer bobbies are employed across Leicestershire and Rutland because of Government cuts...

The force are proposing to add an extra 2 pounds each month onto Council tax to raise funds and staff numbers.

A consultation is underway.
