Unions at Stamford's fire service warn about funding

Figures show reductions of 14 per cent to Lincolnshire fire and rescue

Unions at the  fire and rescue service that covers Stamford is calling on the Government for more investment and increased pay after 4 years of huge cuts.

The Government central funding has resulted in one point six million pounds being scrapped from the Lincolnshire force.

Meanwhile, the Leicesterhire team, which covers Rutland, has encountered cuts of two point one million pounds.
