As you might expect, we are out and about across Stamford and Rutland during the summer holidays. We have already covered the Royal Visit to Oakham and will be at the WW1 commemorations in Easton-on-the-Hill, Stamford and Uppingham, plus all the summer shows and events.

The World Cup might have only just finished but the new football season kicks-off shorty and we will keep you up-to-date with the Daniels and all the locally supported sides, Peterborough, Leicester City and Nottingham Forest. Rutland Radio will also keep an eye on the likes of Oakham United, Blackstones, Stamford Bels, Ketton FC Ryhall United, Uppingham Town and Cottesmore Amateurs. And of course we will be following Leicester Tigers in the rugby.
