I've been involved with Rutland Radio for over 13 years, having started as the Saturday Sportsdesk presenter in 2003 soon after graduating from Newcastle University. I've since presented the Saturday chart show, done countless football, cricket and rugby match reports from local games, and now present the Saturday lunchtime show.
I'm a real passionate local resident, having been born in town, before going to Stamford School, and proudly living in the Stamford area. I'm even married to a Stamford High School girl (ex Stamford High School I should add!).
I really enjoy sport, having run 13 marathons, as well as captaining a team in the Uppingham Monday night league, and playing for Uffington cricket club. I also enjoy watching England, and have now seen them play away 26 times. I'm lucky enough to be able to travel lots also, having now visited 57 Countries. My favourite is still Spain, a Country I fell in love with when studying at Malaga University in 2000.
